Students normally have different ways of absorbing content and information. The process of understanding differs from one student to another. The teachers' job is to know these differences and teach their students in the best way that suits them. There are four learning styles: visual, auditory, kinesthetic and linguistic... Visual students depend in their learning on images, maps, and graphics. Auditory students depend on discussions, listening and speaking. Kinesthetic learners study best when they move around and integrate in the process of learning by doing stuff on their own. Last but not least there are learners who learn best through reading, writing and taking notes.
"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." It is essential to include the students in the process of learning. They should be a priority for the teacher. She must take in consideration the students age, interests and likes. Students best learn when they are involved and not just lectured. If they get bored or sleepy then the teacher will lose their attention and interest in the topic she's talking about. So the teacher has a huge responsibility toward her students whatever their age. The responsibility of teaching them and keeping what they have learned in their minds.
